Every year, the Maslar Foundation supports the education of individual students with scholarship opportunities. Scholarships this year are designated for alumni of the Detroit Public Schools Community District.
2024 Emil J. Maslar Scholarships
In 2024, the Maslar Foundation will be providing two $1,000 scholarships. Eligible students must meet these criteria for the 2024 Emil J. Maslar Scholarship:
1. Cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.5 or above.
2. Graduate in May 2024 from a Detroit Public Schools Community District high school.

4. Write an essay between 500 and 1,000 words on the question below: We are influenced by the challenges we face in our lives. Recount a time you faced a challenge or failure. How did it impact you, and what did you learn from this experience?
